I am pretty sure folks that this will be attributed to an abandoned underground coal mine that was not listed with the government so nobody knew about it. Warren County Kentucky is right in the middle of Western Kentucky's coal mining operating area. Most mines down there are legitimate operated but I have talked to some old retired miners who worked for some companies that did not follow the permits and claim areas they filed papers on. Many of these companies would follow a vein of coal till it ran out. Sometimes according to my source they would mine a vein for 10-20 miles going through land that they did not have mineral rights on. That is why we are having problems here in Southern Indiana with homes collapsing and building shifting. This miner worked in Indiana but he said the company he worked for did this everywhere as well as many other companies as well. That is why I am pretty sure that this will be the cause when they sort things out. Probably can expect a lot more of this around here. With all these honeycombs of working and abandoned mines around here and the New Madrid fault line as well as another lesser fault line. I expect Western Kentucky and Southern Indiana to disappear after a major quake along New Madrid one of these days!
